What exactly does Dewp do?
Dewp helps you sort large batches of photos fast. It detects duplicates, flaws (like closed eyes or blur), and highlights your best shots — especially the ones that fit your Instagram aesthetic.
How does Dewp know my “aesthetic”?
You upload a screenshot of your Instagram feed, and our AI studies its colors, lighting, vibe, and composition patterns. We then use that as a personalised reference for scoring your photos.
Are my photos stored on your servers?
Photos are temporarily uploaded only for analysis. We do not access your personal gallery.
Does Dewp share my data with anyone?
No. We do not sell, rent, or share your photos or personal data with third parties. We only share anonymized technical information with our AI providers so they can process your images.
Why do I need an account to use Dewp?
An account helps us track your AI usage and token costs and prevent abuse We don’t use your account for ads or tracking.
Why did Dewp mark a photo as “flawed” when it looks fine?
AI can misinterpret stylistic shots (intentionally blurry, moody lighting, closed eyes on purpose). You can always override our picks! Dewp is an assistant, not a judge (even though I wished Dewp could be a literally dewp of me)
Why didn’t Dewp pick the photo I like best?
Taste is truly subjective. Dewp gives a smart recommendation based on your feed style and tries to make the rightest guess but you’re always in control so feel free to choose another!
Why did a duplicate get put in the wrong group?
Duplicates can be visually, contextually and compositionally. Our algorithm tries to balances all three to the best of its abilities
Why do some batches take longer?
Large batches (800–1500 photos), poor network conditions, or many high-resolution images can increase processing time. You can safely leave the app after the processing stage and we’ll notify you when the analysis is done.
Can I use Dewp with videos?
Video support may be coming in a future update for Pro users.
Can Dewp help me delete photos to save storage?
Smart deletion tools are in development — stay tuned!
